White Wedding; Is It Really Scriptural??

So many christians today believe so much in the fact that for a wedding to be approved by God, it has to pass through the normal routine of the lady putting on the normal
white wedding gown, holding a bouquet of flowers, and marching with her man down the aisle. As a matter of fact, most christians will even tell you that you're on your way to hellfire if you do not perform the white wedding rites. How true are these claims? Is white wedding scriptural? Or are we simply playing to the gallery of some borrowed culture?
The tradition of a white wedding is commonly credited to Queen Victoria's choice to wear a white wedding dress at her wedding to Prince Albert in 1840. You can clearly see the origin of the white gown syndrome. The bible says that marriage is honorable, bed undefiled, and also went ahead in other verses in the book of genesis, that a man will leave his father, mother, and his people, and cling to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. Here in Africa, marriage, whether you call it traditional or cultural, the recognized form of wedding is the traditional wedding, where the bride's family and kinsmen come up with a list of items that the groom must purchase in addition to the bride price. It is not wrong to invite the presence of God by involving the christian aspect of blessing the marriage by a Man of God, but the impression I'm trying to correct is the fact that white wedding is not a scriptural ordeal.
