Wao!!! One Direction Tweet Overtakes President Obama's Historic 'Four More Years' Tweet

When we look back on this decade, what will be the events that defined America? If we're judging by Twitter stats, for a long time it was President Obama's re- election, marked by Obama's famous victory night tweet, "Four more years," alongside an old photo of him hugging First Lady Michelle Obama.
Two years later, Ellen DeGeneres' Oscars selfie outperformed Obama in retweets. And now, adding insult to injury, a British boy band has surpassed the President of the United States.
As noted by BuzzFeed writer Matt Bellassai , One Direction -er Louis
Tomlinson's 2011 love declaration to Harry Styles ("proof" for Larry shippers) has surpassed the president's re-election night tweet to become the second-most- reteweeted message of all time.
This 1D tweet just surpassed Barack Obama's tweet as the second most RT'd tweet OF ALL TIME.
Far ahead -- by over two million more retweets -- is Ellen DeGeneres' famous Oscar night selfie featuring Jennifer Lawrence, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and more.
