Its no longer news that so many people are single because of the many heart breaks they've suffered. Some have even turned into heartbreakers themselves because of past experiences. In this discourse, I tried as much as possible to look at the root causea of heart breaks.
Excessive Trust.
How could I have loved him without trusting him? I wish I never beleived her!!! These and many more coments are the aftermath of heart breaks. Trust is a vital ingredient to loving just as trust makes love grow. Now the question is this; how can you love without trust? It's morw like hoping for the best, while expecting the worse. I know how mutually exclusive that is sounding. The problem we often encounter is simply due to the fact that we trust too easily. A guy comes with a car, promises you heaven on earth, takes you shopping, tells you he's here to stay forever and immediately, your common sense leaves you. Hehe, sorry, but please permit me to laugh. You start loving him, he brainwashes you like they do to oir brothers in the middle east, and then you're all over him. I've observed over time that ladies fall in love more than the male folks, they've been programmed that way and it's one of their most interesting attributes; soft heartedness. So many girls have trusted guys, even to the extent of giving up their virginity only to get heartbroken. Though trust has become a necessary evil, trust is earned. Learn not to trust so easily, learn to hope for the best while expecting the worst. Be wary every time.
Lust.
The reason why so many are lost today is because of lust. So many girls no want suffer at all. Dem dey find already made. Some even go as far as dating a guy that's already engaged simply because he's wealthy and promising. When their inordinate ambition is foiled, they burst into tears and term it "heartbreak".
Sex
What role does sex really play in a relationship?? I wish I wasn't a VIRGIN, I would have answered that comfortably. No need doubting me, it's true. Well lets continue. Hehe. A guy could act all nice up to the point of getting what he wants, sex. Even girls these days could jilt guys after sex. It's actually a two way thing. Some say when sex is not part of a relationship, cheating is inevitable. I leave that for you to decide. What's true however, is the fact that sex doesn't keep a relationship. A girl could love a guy's sex, and another's money. Even guys could love a girls bitchy attitude and another's Modesty.
The way Forward.
What's the way from here?? The society has gone bad. Heartbreak can never be eradicated. All we can do is apply wisdom and caution, and even when these fail, soberly pick the broken pieces of your heart, mend them and move on. Remember the best form of revenge is not becoming like your enemy. You don't have to be a heartbreaker yourself simply because you were heartbroken. Live, laugh, love, learn to forgive. Life is beautiful.....
